Merchant accounts we set up are processed through CardConnect, a Fiserv company. CardConnect provides the gateway, tokenizer, hosted payment page, and the merchant account itself, subject to underwriting. Their merchant terms are referenced on our Legal page.
Clover is a Fiserv brand — same parent as CardConnect — which means we can provision a Clover Mini, Flex, Station Duo, KDS, or Kiosk for your merchant account, subject to underwriting and hardware availability. Best for retail and restaurants where the operator wants a turnkey POS.
PAX terminals run Android with an open SDK, so your own app, CRM, or custom checkout may be able to drive the device directly, subject to technical review. We pair PAX with CardConnect’s API when your software stack is the differentiator; any software or platform fees are listed in your proposal.
Fiserv is the publicly traded financial-services and payments company behind both CardConnect and Clover. Data Plus is an independent agent of CardConnect; it is not Fiserv and does not act on Fiserv’s behalf beyond that agent relationship.
You sign the merchant agreement with CardConnect — the processor that holds your account. Data Plus is the agent that built the relationship and that you call when something needs to change. Funds are settled to the merchant’s designated bank account according to the applicable merchant agreement. Data Plus does not hold merchant funds.
